Volunteer Opportunities
Reef Flat Monitoring
The Marine Monitoring Team conducts a reef flat monitoring every other week of selected beaches around Saipan, and gathers scientific data in order to follow trends in the marine environment.
The MMT represents a collaborative commitment by local government agencies and volunteers to monitor and assess the health of CNMI's coral reefs and related ecosystems.
For more information about the MMT, and to better familiarize yourself with the marine environment that is monitored, see the "Coral Reef Program" section of this website.
