Enforcement Overview
The enforcement section is responsible for ensuring the fair treatment of
our environment by enforcing the rules and regulations that protect it.
The enforcement section of Coastal Resource Management Office is made up
of five individuals, one chief enforcement and four enforcement officers.
These officers monitor permitted areas and enforce permit rules and regulations.
There are five APC’s or areas of particular concern that are frequently
monitored by the enforcement officers. These areas are:
- Shorelines (Sm)
- Port & Industrial (PI)
- Lagoon & Reef (LR)
- Wetlands (W)
- Federal Consistency (FC)
- Major Sittings (MS)
